It has been a crazy, fun, and exciting week to be a technology enthusiast. I don’t know about you, but I have been hard pressed to keep atop all the goings-on. Here are some articles I read that I think you may enjoy.

The Apple event was fun! Did you watch the live steaming video? Well, OWC had a GREAT community blog post on the event, and it is well worth reading! (OWC Blog)

Touch Arcade has a review of the iPhone game Mirrors Edge. When this game was first announced, a year ago, it was big news. But it took so long to get here, and so many other really fantastic iOS games have come out in the interim, that there seems to be an almost “Meh…” attitude about this game now. I am still interested, and found this review well worth the read. (Touch Arcade)

Robert Scoble has a really interesting post about, ostensibly, the difference between installing apps on a computer and an iPhone/iPad. I found it a good read, and it did make me think. Honestly, that’s what I am always looking for when I read an article, be it a blog post or a news item. Something that makes me sit back and think for a moment. Scoble did just that with his Promiscuous Adoption: A tale of two companies post. Check it out. (Scobleizer)

It’s humorous to look back on Apple rumors after a new product is actually announced. AppleTVHacks had a article that tracked all those rumors about the new AppleTV, with links provided. Most of them were wrong, which just goes to show you: don’t believe the rumors! They are link-bait, mostly made up nonsense designed to get you to visit their site. (Appletvhacks.net)

Do you remember this factoid: HP used to sell an HP branded iPod. No? They did! I had forgotten that myself, but Chris Seibold’s post at Apple Matters reminded me of it. So why did HP drop the iPod? Read his article to find out! (AppleMatters)

Wired’s Evan Hansen has an interesting take on the new Apple TV, and what it means to the cable companies. (Wired)

Interested in how the Macintosh was originally created? Andy Hertzfeld’s site Folklore does just that, but be careful, you can lose hours there. (Folklore)

I love (LOVE) my iPad, and personally, I think it’s the greatest thing Apple ever made besides the Macintosh. Yeah, I said it! That being said, I am still very interested in the other slate / pad competitors, what they can do, etc… Harry McCracken got his hands on a new one form Samsung, and it’s an interesting look. (Technologizer)

Not tech related in any way, but a site I found I could not stop reading a few years ago, is The Sneeze. The writer seems to have gone walkabout the last few months, but the archived content is worth your time. In particular, read the “Steve, don’t eat it!” entries. They will make you LOL and perhaps even OTFLMAO. Whatever that means… (TheSneeze)

A couple of my own blog posts are up on the OWC Blog page. First, and most recent, is my “The new Apple TV and ONE BIG question remains” post, and then there is my “It’s a Mag, Mag, Mag, Mac World” from this past Wednesday. Hope you have the chance to read both! (Blogs.MacSales)

Speaking of Macsales.com, did you miss out on the $99 40GB SSD sale? Well, fear not! While the sale may be over, you can still pick up the super fast, super reliable, and super affordable drive for only $117.99! Not as inexpensive as the sale price, true, but still a ridiculously low price for the OWC Mercury Extreme Pro SSD. This is the drive with the SandForce DuraWrite technology, after all! And the only place you can get this drive, at this price, is Other World Computing.

Send me link to stories I should feature here next week! I can’t read and follow everything, and could use the recommendations! And be sure to subscribe to the OWC Radio podcast via iTunes! It’s free!

This week, OWC Radio host Tim Robertson talks with Les Tokar, the owner and operator of The SSD Review. If you only listen to one podcast to learn about SSD’s, this is the show you want to hear. Everything from ease of installation, what to look for when shopping for an SSD, and what an SSD actually is. Plus, audio feedback from John G., Phil lost his bookmarks, and there is an Apple event looming, but will Tim watch it live?
